The Stylist’s Arena is located at the top left of the home screen. Here you can battle other players by dressing up according to a theme. At the end of each season, you’ll win diamonds, gold, and more importantly Starlight Coins. Starlights Coins are used to buy recipes and materials to craft items. You can exchange them at the Store of Starlight.
The score based on the clothes’ style and tags as well as your skills. Please note that my outfits vary a LOT in score, I guess it has a lot to do with the opponents’ skill levels as well – Therefore I’d say try to stick as much as possible to the style and don’t forget to upgrade your skills whenever you can as it really helps getting higher scores.
Note: Like all challenges, your score will be based on 5 styles. Some have a higher weight on your final score compared to others, so below the ‘+++’ signs are the styles that have the highest score weight.
How the Stylist’s Arena works
Every day you get 5 free challenge attempts, but you can buy more attempts with diamonds.
If you win the challenge: You get 5 Starlight Coins and win Points
If you lose the challenge: You get 3 Starlight Coins but you lose Points
The season ends every Monday and you will receive rewards based on your final ranks.
Once the season ends, all players’ levels are bumped down by one level.
How to win:
Take a look at Momo’s Predictions for your opponent’s score. Momo’s predictions are mostly accurate, it usually fluctuates by + or – 5000.
Write down your highest score for each theme. It helps you evaluate whether you can beat an opponent or not.
Don’t forget the ‘Exchange for one’ button. It lets you change your opponent for another one.
Once you’re on the Queen Stylist level, remember that if your opponent’s rank is higher than yours and you win, you will score more points (V/S if you win and your opponent’s rank is lower than yours). So if your opponent’s predicted score is high, chances are they are ranked high. I usually change for an opponent with a score high enough to ensure they’re ranked high, but low enough so that I know I can win against them with my highest score.
If you obtain a new item and want to try it out in the Arena, try to battle against an opponent with a significantly lower score compared to yours. It’ll allow you to test the new outfit.
When I first started playing I battled against opponents with scores ranging in the 20k and once I was confident in my outfit, I started to battle against the opponents with a higher score and eventually ranked in the Top 20.
If you want to be ranked in the Top 20, you need to buy attempts. VIP players get to purchase more attempts so they usually monopolize the Top 20 ranks. I was able to rank in the Top 20 a couple of times but I’ve spent a lot of diamonds purchasing attempts!
